Learners only learn when they are actively engaged in the learning process.

When possible, switch from a presenter-focused, passive listening approach (monologue) to a facilitated, more active learning (dialogue).

Promote engagement  by designing learning tasks that are content-rich, safe and relevant to the needs and context of the participants.
