Hi! My name is Dwayne Hodgson.  In my work, I help people "learn more" by making their workshops, classes, conference and online learning efforts more participatory, engaging and effective. 

A few years ago at a community meeting in rural Tanzania, I was honoured to receive a Sukuma name that means “one who brings us together”.  And looking back I can see that much of the work that I’ve done in Africa and here in Canada has been about bringing people together to engage in dialogue, to learn and to find creative ways to address the social and environmental problems that confront their communities.

This website highlights some of my recent work and reflections on learning design and facilitation and program design, monitoring and evaluation. I've also posted some articles, podcasts and other tools that I hope you'll find helpful.
